These conditions are managed over time: a one-off consultation is only worth having if it leaves behind a protocol you can use. The stay therefore serves to take stock in full — control, complications, treatment — and to send you home with written instructions your own doctor can follow. Where thyroid surgery is indicated, it is arranged straight after the work-up.
