What this specialty covers.

Physical medicine and rehabilitation aims to improve or restore functional ability after illness, injury or surgery. Care may combine rehabilitation, physiotherapy and adapted readaptation programmes.

This is the discipline where a stay in Morocco makes the most sense: an intensive programme, several sessions a day, over two to four weeks, achieves more than weekly sessions spread over months. The doctor sets measurable goals at the start and reassesses them at the end of the stay — that assessment is what your own physiotherapist will build on.

Your situation is not on this list? It is not exhaustive: send your file and a doctor will read it.

The technique used depends on your file. It is settled by the doctor at consultation and stated in your proposal before you travel.

Support on the ground, and after your stay

What we organise around the medical care.

You take only what you need: nothing is imposed and nothing is sold as a package.

Medical appointments

Consultations, tests and surgery placed in an order that makes sense, with no day lost between two appointments.

Visa support

Letter of medical care and supporting documents, for the nationalities that require them.

Accommodation and transfers

A place to stay near the facility, airport pick-up and travel during your stay.

Travelling companion

We plan for them from the start: accommodation, transfers and presence at consultations.

What patients ask us.

Two to four weeks in most cases, with several sessions a day. Below that, the intensity is not enough to produce a lasting gain. The length chosen appears in your proposal, with the number of sessions planned.

The fastest progress occurs in the first months, but functional recovery remains possible afterwards, particularly in independence and walking. The doctor assesses your potential before the stay and sets realistic goals rather than promises.

Yes, and it is often desirable in this discipline: the companion learns the transfer techniques and the exercises to continue at home. We arrange their accommodation at the same time as yours.

The equipment used during sessions belongs to the centre. If an aid — a splint, an orthosis, a walking aid — needs to be kept, it is prescribed and you take it with you, along with the exercise programme.

Have your file read before you decide.

A doctor reviews it and tells you what is possible, what is not and what it involves. With no commitment on your part.
